FAQ

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about foiling and our day-to-day business: We explain the use of all kinds of foils, such as: B. paint protection film, ceramic film or furniture film.

Subsequent window tinting reflects 99 % of the UV-A and UV-B radiation and thus offers comprehensive protection for the vehicle occupants and the interior. Above all, however, the foil keeps the heat out in summer and thus relieves the air conditioning. You also benefit from optimal glare and privacy protection and avoid the risk of splinters flying around in the event of an accident. The professional assembly also enhances the design of your vehicle.

Since dust is the worst enemy of perfect window tinting, please bring your vehicle freshly washed and vacuumed to us. In particular, you should thoroughly remove dog hair, which can be electrostatically attracted to the tint film. If you wish, you can also entrust us with cleaning your car. If there are any old adhesive residues or similar residues on the panes, please let us know in advance. You should also ensure that all windows to be glued are freely accessible: For station wagons, please remove the covers in the luggage compartment and any child seats that may be present. For sedans with a fixed rear window, please remove the rear head restraints. If it is a transporter, unload all building materials, tools or the like in advance and fold the seats.

No, registration with the TÜV is not required. However, you must show the ABG (General Construction Approval) on request. Always carry the document we have issued with you in the vehicle. An entry of the tint film in the vehicle papers is optional.

In principle, you should clarify this question with your leasing partner. Many leasing companies even consider a properly installed window film to be an increase in value, so that you do not have to have it removed before you return it. If you want to remove it, please contact us: In the area of the rear window or in the case of side windows with antennas, incorrect dismantling can cause great damage.

As a rule, the partial sticker is already insured in the partial comprehensive insurance. In the fully comprehensive insurance, the stickers must be communicated to the insurance company. Some insurance companies even lower the insurance premiums with a professional sticker. In any case, it is advisable to ask your own insurance company.

Special care is not required. If necessary, simply use a soft cloth and lukewarm water. Under no circumstances may you use aggressive cleaning agents and scouring cleaners.

Depending on the vehicle and its windows, we need two to four hours to apply the tint film. When making your request, let us know which vehicle it is. So we can give more precise times.

No. According to the StVO, window tinting is only permitted from the B-pillar. Both the windshield and the front side windows are not permitted.
There are exceptions for show vehicles and the like. Ä.

In the first 14 days you should exercise caution in order to achieve perfect results over the long term: Please do not use the rear window heating during this period. You should also keep the movable side windows closed.

Installation from the inside is only recommended for single glazing. If the different panes of multiple glazing heat up to different degrees, stress cracks can occur.

In summer, a building film can reduce the infrared radiation by over 90 % and thus ensure a significantly more comfortable room temperature - even without air conditioning. In winter, however, the solar radiation is very low and the filtering is hardly important. So there are hardly any additional heating costs.

Basically any painted surface can be foiled.

If the vehicle already has rust or paint damage, these must be repaired before the stickers are applied.

Unpainted plastic parts cannot be pasted.
